I love this mower July 9, 2010 lori 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
First of all I am a lady and I purchased this mower because it was self-propelled. I didn't know it would be so easy; I simply just walk behind it and I can guide it with one finger if I wanted. It climbs hills and that's important since my front yard is on an incline. I have a pretty good size yard and I can finish in less than an hour. With my old mower I had to take atleast 3 breaks because I would be so tired. I wish I had this mower long ago. Oh yeah it is easy to assemble; just unfold the handle and it comes with a small container of oil. Unfold the handle, fill with oil and gas and adjust the height you want your grass cut at. Mine came set up for mulching although you can attach the bag if you like or open side chute. Great mower!

I recommend this product if you are after an inexpensive self-propelled lawn mower. It works great: cuts nicely and starts up on the first pull even after adding oil and gas for the first time. It is also quiet. Potential downside aspects are: The grass bag is small, OK for grass but maybe not for leaf pick-up. (Almost all of my mowing is done in the mulching mode, so this is not a problem for me.) If you have small hands and fingers, you may want to try out a similar mower before purchase. The bottom lever that controls speed requires at least average length fingers at slow speeds when the speed lever needs to be extended, if you want the lever to rest in your first finger joints. (I have quickly adjusted to this design flaw and do not find it to be a cause for rejection. I merely accept that I need to control the lever with my finger tips.) As some others have commented, the mower arrived in somewhat of a damaged condition. The box had been obviously damaged, opened and resealed. One wheel-height lever was bent and one handle extension bolt was missing. No problem, I straighted the lever with a plyers and stole a comparable bolt from my previous mower.
No Problems June 22, 2010 Phil (South Bay, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have had this mower for a month (used four times) and it does everything that is said. It starts on one pull, catches the grass clippings well and has a variable speed arm for how fast you want to go.
