 Battery won't charge after only 4 months August 28, 2010

Bought this mower brand new fully assembled from Rona in early May. Kept it always plugged in and level in my garage all summer. Used it maybe 8 times and now its done.

I received this mower and within two months it does not charge.
I called the company (Haussmann/ Canada Comany) and spoke to a supervisor that indicated these mowers were "illegally" sold to Amazon and they do not sell the Haussmann name in the United States.
I am in disputes with Amazon and have not come to an agreement on getting my money back.
Do NOT purchase this product!
Follow uP: After many phone calls and time, Amazon refunded my money. The battery was going to cost $249 and they saw no purpose of buying the battery to make it work that exceeded the price of the product

After using the mower for 2 months, the battery died and would not recharge. We took it to the shop and we can not get anyone to acknowledge the warranty!! I would absolutely NOT recommend this mower.

I purchased this mower in May, it worked fine for 3 months, but now the batteries will not hold a charge. I'll stick with a better brand from now on.
As a follow up, neither Amazon or I could find information or a company website on how to get new batteries for this mover. Amazon refunded my money.... now that is great service. Thank you Amazon
