The Robomow RM400 is an automatic lawnmower that cuts grass all by itself. This compact, one-blade mowing/mulching system mows on its own within a boundary that you outline with a thin wire (included).Once you handle the initial wire setup, all you have to do is schedule a program, sit back, relax, and mow! The Robomow RM400 will depart from its Base Station on your chosen days and times, and over the course of a three-day period (of three consecutive mowing sessions), it will mow up to 4,500 square feet.
When it's done mowing, the Robomow RM400 will return to the Base Station for charging until the next scheduled operation. With this mower, you can be your lawn will be maintained, even when you're busy or away from home.

Grasscycling also leads to a deeper, healthier root system that increases your lawn's resistance to disease, drought, and insects, and it reduces the amount of water your lawn needs by as much as 85%.

Safe, Powerful Operation on Any Lawn
In addition to its environmental benefits, the Robomow RM400's blade spins at a speed of 5,800 RPM and offers a mow height of 0.80-3.15 inches. It also has knobby wheels that tackle high grass and sloping or bumpy ground, and it boasts a range of features for safe, efficient operation.
Specifically, user-controlled theft protection, including an alarm system, protects against unauthorized use of the unit, while a tilt sensor stops the blade from rotating when the unit is tilted.
To help guard against the elements, the Robomow RM400 is both UV protected and weatherproof. For an extra measure of assurance, it's also equipped with a rain sensor. If it starts raining when the unit is mowing, the RM400 will immediately return to its docking station.
For added convenience, the Robomow RM400 comes with a perimeter switch that automatically activates the area to be mowed, and a remote control for easy transport of the mower from the garage to the lawn and between plots. The remote is also great for manually mowing very narrow areas.
